Benefits of INOFT-R1

  • F-treatment is possible up to 3 ppm, which is lower than the limit of processing of F ion in the previous technology.
  • The resin, which has been reduced in fluoridation efficiency, can be used continuously through the regeneration process that uses NaOH and HCl.
  • The fluoride removed resin that does not include a complex filtration or precipitation process that is required in previous technology.
  • It is possible to do adsorption treatment on F-ion from wastewater containing various anions.

Back Wash

  • Back Wash is a process of sending water from the bottom to the top, in order to free the resin and wash away any foreign substance that precipitated.
  • After reverse wash, the resin particles are set in order from small to large and sufficient space is required for the tank that contains the resin ( 40~50% of Tank’s total area). The appropriate time is around 20-30 minutes.

NaOH desorption regeneration

  • Gradually pass the NaOH concentration of 0.1 to 0.3 N from top to bottom.
  • Desorption of F-ion in resin is done to make NaF, which is used for regenerating the resin.
  • Regeneration : (Desorption ) Ce - F + NaOH → Ce - OH + NaF

Washing with water

  • In order to remove the remaining NaOH, wash it for one hour to completely eliminate the remaining NaOH

HCl Cleaning

  • After the complete regeneration process, the pH level in the adsorption tower is up to 7~11 In order to set the pH level to 3.5, which will reactivate the resin, HCI cleaning will proceed.
  • The concentration of HCl is 0.04N, washed for 60 to 100 minutes.
